Headlight restoration is an exterior lens service that cleans, refines, and polishes cloudy, yellowed, hazy, or oxidized lenses before protective UV treatment. It may be a fit when the lens is weathered but the assembly itself is intact; cracks, moisture, internal damage, or broken mounts may call for replacement instead.

Cloudy, yellowed, hazy and oxidized lenses can affect large trucks and RVs too. When the deterioration is on the outside and the headlight assembly is still functional, restoration may be an alternative to replacing the entire assembly. Not every headlight is suitable for restoration.

The professional ceramic UV coating helps protect the restored lens from continued UV exposure. The 3-year warranty covers premature yellowing or oxidation of the protective coating under normal conditions.
Warranty excludes physical damage, scratches, impacts, chemical damage, cracks, internal headlight damage, moisture or condensation inside the assembly, and damage caused by improper care. Cracked, physically damaged, internally deteriorated or moisture-affected assemblies may require repair or replacement.

Cloudy, yellowed or oxidized motorcycle headlights may be eligible for professional restoration when the exterior lens is made from restorable plastic. B.E. Headlight Restoration can professionally restore eligible plastic motorcycle headlight lenses using the appropriate preparation, progressive sanding and polishing process based on the condition of the lens, followed by UV protection. Premium Ceramic UV Protection is also available.
Because motorcycle headlights vary greatly in size, shape, lens material and headlight design, customers should send us a photo before scheduling. Text a clear photo of the motorcycle headlight to (714) 643-2303 for a free quote.
Plastic lenses only. Glass headlights and headlights with cracks, internal damage, moisture, condensation or other internal problems are not eligible for this exterior restoration service.

Warranty coverage applies to the protective coating against premature yellowing or oxidation under normal conditions. Warranty does not cover physical damage, scratches, impacts, chemical damage, or damage caused by improper care.

A careful restoration process designed around the condition of your vehicle’s headlights.
We inspect the headlights and prepare the surrounding area for restoration.
Weathered and oxidized material is removed from the lens.
The lens is progressively refined as needed to remove deterioration and restore an even surface.
The headlights are polished to bring back clarity and improve their appearance.
The restored lens receives protective UV treatment, with an upgraded ceramic UV option available.
